Biography:
Elizabeth C. Sharp (1814-?) was the eldest child of Marcus De Lafayette Sharp, a physician who served as a surgeon’s mate during the Creek Indian Wars. She married Alanson B. Cannon, brother of Margaret Jane Bone Canon (TSS 119) and they moved to a farm in Rutherford Co. to be near his family. Elizabeth died sometime after 1870.
