Biography:
Mary E. Halfacre ( 1835-1901) wed twice, first to Dr. Stephen N. Parkes, then to Joseph T. Chadwell. She only had one child.
Description:
Mary's impressive pink flower vase and pink and red flowers are German in origin. Her sampler is almost identical to that of Sarah (Sallie) Elizabeth Angeline Andrews worked in the same year.
