Biography:
Sarah Caroline Gwinn (1832-1913) was one of four children of Edward Gwin and Margaret Webb Bowen. Her father was an early pioneer of Carroll County. Her mother was a teacher at the school in Huntingdon, Carroll County. Sarah married James Madison Brannock, a physician, and the couple had two children.
