Susan Elizabeth Virginia Mountcastle (1829-1850) was born in Virginia, the youngest child of William Mountcastle, Sr., and Susan Moore. The family settled in Hawkins Co, Tennessee, sometime before 1830. Susan wed Ambrose Mills and may have died from complications of childbirth with her second child.
This lovely sampler uses queen stitches to create texture. It is featured on our second set of note cards.
